Isabelle Scott Design & Build

The Project

The brief was to create a visual identity for Design & Build firm Isabelle Scott. The company is headed up by the two partners and the emphasis is on a complete service so they wanted something that would portray both the structural and building side of the business along with the creative flair that the interior design side of the business brings.

The solution

IsabelleScott is headed up by Isabelle who concentrates on interior design and Scott who focuses on the project management and construction planning side of things. They were already utilising the idea of a butterfly to symbolise the crystalisation of ideas, from concept to reality, and it seemed a fitting metaphor to continue. I created a wire frame butterfly to represent the beauty and detail of the finished project, but in a structured, planned way to anchor in the construction side of the business and the way the two seamlessly work together.

I created two variations, one for the core business and the other with a softer colour wash behind for use across the interior design studio. This version was then created in four colour ways for further flexibility and ties in with the four seasons.
